It’s true that in the modern day, video is by far the dominant form of media coverage and reviews. We’ve even gotten to the point of video reviews being advertised by how many seconds they are. In the mid 2000’s, I remember sitting at my computer desk reading countless reviews on games I anticipated. And of course, who can forget the feeling of opening your mailbox and seeing the new issue of your favorite gaming magazine? On this little blog, I just wanted to do my part towards preserving one of my favorite ways of analyzing media- the written word.
