I've found that Final Fantasy VI and VII are deeply intertwined. In many ways, VI feels like a prelude to VII. Certain songs, abilities and moments feel like a prototype for the 1997 masterpiece. But VI also stands up as a 10/10 game as well. So which execution was better?
